CHA Day #3...

Another fabulous, crazy day...started about 5:30am and ran from booth to booth placing final orders. Rushed back to the hotel to meet shuttle that took us to the airport. Then proceeded to carry the 2 heaviest bags in the world and my carry on (quite a comical sight) to the baggage check in. Once thru security, stopped to grab a bite and then off to the gate. Happy to see that flight was on in and seated only to find out that our plane was 16th in line for take off...urgh!! Arrived safe and sound at DFW and was met by my DH, Hayden & Maddie. Felt so good to be home...felt even better when I arrived at home only to be surprised by my two oldest daughters (Rachel & Kristyn) with a yummy cake that was decorated with little dragonflies on it. They had carefully written these words on the side of the cake...It's a Beautiful Day at Home! How great it felt to actually be missed...ha! They were all so sweet and just made me feel like the luckiest Mom & Wife ever! I love my family SO much!

Joyfully Yours,
Tracy :)
P.S. Three videos are now loaded on the Anthologies Blog...with more to come! Happy dragonfly counting gals! I will post some of my favorite finds later this weekend...night night!

You all know I am an extreme paper addict and I just can't wait to see the new paper collections in person! I'm also excited to see what new trends, colors, techniques and project samples are being featured by the vendors this time around! I made sure to bring my camera charger and an extra memory card so that I can take pictures galore! I will be posting some of my favorite finds on my blog and Nita and I will be posting even more fun photos, info and ... even some special video...on the Anthologies Blog.
I wish so badly that I could take all of you with me!

One person in particular really wants to travel along...Look at my precious little stow-away! I just can't seem to keep him out of my suitcase. No Kaden -- You can't come to CHA with Lolli but I promise to bring you a special surprise! As you can see, he could care less about the surprise...ha! Oh how I love my grand-boy!

Be Inspired Wednesday - Challenge #41

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
My challenge this week on the CCB was to create to create something using the NEW Victorian Flourish Folder by Cuttlebug(Provocraft). This folder has a beautiful, elegant look to it! My project is an altered tin by Maya Road. I embellished my tin with some Brrr Blue art metal (Ten Seconds Studio) and some of the Invisibles polka dot paper (Heidi Swapp). I used some distress inks on my paper to create the two-tone color. Added some pretty coordinating ribbons and a cute tag and now I have a great gift tin. These little tins are great for lots of uses! They would be great for gifts, treats, recipe cards, photos, and so much more! This will also be one of the projects that you will create if you sign up for Create Joy's Invisibles Workshop coming up on Aug. 6th. You will enjoy creating a few other projects as altered composition book and a variety of cards. Hope you will consider joining us!

Have a creative day!

Scrapstasher's...You're gonna love this!

I was so excited to see the new product releases by Bo Bunny! Of course their paper collections and embellishments are amazing--but--what I was really tickled about was that they will now be selling there clam shell packaging! They are calling them - Clear Party Favors- If you are a Stasher, you will remember us making cute little treats out of our recycled packaging. Now you will be able to purchase them and decorate them any way you want. They retail for less than a $1 and will make such cute party favors, halloween treats, stocking stuffers, etc. The possibilities are endless!

It embosses beautifully in the Cuttlebug EF' looks especially nice in the Herringbone Folder..wouldn't you agree?!?! I created the butterfly using the Butterfly Embossing Folders by Provocraft and black art metal by Ten Seconds Studio. I also added a little embossed detail to my envelope for a fun touch! "Hoo" wants to see a new Cuttlebug Folder??

Hello everyone!
This new Cuttlebug Folder is sure to be a big hit!
It features a very popular feathered friend...the wise old owl!
Here is a notepad that I created for this week's Cuttlebug Challenge. My Owl is embossed on Chocolate art metal and I decided to use the reverse image of the folder. To do this, I simply put my metal into the folder color-side down instead of color-side up. I really love how it turned out!
To view more projects created with this fun folder, visit the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog.
Enter the challenge and you could win NEW EF's!

"Owl" bet you put this folder on the top of your wish list!

Sorry...couldn't help myself..tee hee!
