February Scrapstasher's Project...

As promised, here is a picture of the project we created at our February Scrapstasher's meeting. It was such a fun and easy project to create! I showed the class an easy stamping and painting technique for the canvas and then showed them how to create these beautiful torn paper flowers and leaves. Such a great use for all those scrap pieces of printed paper that you have on hand! Simply tear the paper (by punches allowed...) in circular shapes, crumple the paper circles tightly in your hand, unfold and rub over the crinkles and wrinkles with a cat eye, curl up the edges with your finger and layer in different sizes.
It's that easy!

We also embellished our canvases with a cute stamped saying and some jute! If you didn't make it this month, but would like to come next month, please let me know and I will fill you in on all the details! You can also find info regarding Scrapstasher's Anonymous on my website.

Keep Creating,
Tracy :)

Wow! I love your project! Especially those flowers! Do you draw the circles before tearing so they don't become triangles *wink*?
